Some people call it an elevator pitch. I call it Articulating Your Value. Doesn't really matter what we call it, it matters that you have this info at the front of your brain and on the tip of your tongue. It's the story that you want other people to share when they're talking about you.

Going through the hard work of developing this concise explanation of who you are, what your expertise is and why it matters is a fun exercise and a great confidence builder.

I’m here to tell you that it is totally okay to speak about your business and successes out loud. It’s uncomfortable for many of us, we’ve been conditioned to credit others in order to create community. And creating community is great, but diminishing ourselves is not great.

Great leaders speak with confidence. People want to buy from people who are able to speak confidently about what they’re selling. Your bottom line depends on you getting comfortable with being able to articulate your value.

It may be hard in the beginning, but your confidence is like your muscles, it can become stronger if you work on it.  

I have confidence in you. I believe that you have amazing skills and a passion for what you do. If you’ve come this far, I know you’re working on yourself and your business so you’re already ahead of the curve, congratulations.
